Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity or related IT field.
• Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity alerts and incidents.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts and contribute to team training.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents across enterprise security platforms.
• Lead responder for routine to moderately complex security events, coordinating response efforts.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and user behavior to identify impact and root cause.
• Support data protection and compliance controls including Purview DLP, labels, retention, and eDiscovery workflows.
• Document investigations, findings, and remediation actions for audit and reporting.
• Monitor events using SIEM tools like Microsoft Sentinel or Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Compliance, and departments to resolve security issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to cybersecurity analysts.
