Job summary

CAE USA in Tampa, FL is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead RMF and information assurance for the C-17 Training System. You will coordinate planning, staffing, and governance of the cybersecurity program across multiple locations and interfaces with USAF, DoD, and external auditors.

The role requires 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, DoD 8570/8140 qualifications, and the ability to communicate complex risks to leadership. Travel may be required, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• IAM Level I (Level II preferred) or Technician Level II per DoD 8570-01/8140.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to deliver presentations to management/customers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, and manage RMF program across 16 locations.
• Prepare and submit RMF docs: SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms.
• Ensure system security controls meet DoD requirements.
• Guide accreditation to ATO status; maintain eMASS and ACAS accuracy.
• Integrate cybersecurity measures into all system aspects.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and audits.
• Coordinate with engineers for secure updates and patches.
• Respond to security incidents with containment and reporting.
• Comply with DoD, USAF, NIST policies.
• Interface with USAF leadership and external stakeholders.
