Job summary

Cybersecurity Marketing Society is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to serve as the day-to-day contact for client programs in cybersecurity marketing. You will translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling stories, manage teams, and guide strategy for both existing clients and new business opportunities.

You will drive media relations, content development, and integrated marketing campaigns while staying ahead of industry trends and delivering measurable results for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B tech communications, especially cybersecurity brands.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling stories.
• Strong client-facing skills and leadership of account teams.

Responsibilities

• You’re the day-to-day contact for clients and manage expectations.
• Develop domain expertise to drive strategy for existing clients and new business.
• Lead internal and client meetings and participate in planning processes.
• Mentor account coordinators and junior staff; drive campaigns forward.
• Drive media relations campaigns and maximize coverage for announcements.
• Develop content strategies and messaging platforms for clients.
• Identify speaking opportunities and awards for clients; provide strategic counsel.
• Strategize marketing methodologies across channels and measurement tools.
• Connect program-level results to client goals and OKRs/KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for business development and onboarding.
