Unissant seeks a Cybersecurity Operations Lead to guide security operations and vulnerability management across a large enterprise environment. The role emphasizes leading technical teams, implementing automation, and improving program maturity to strengthen mission performance.

The position requires 7–10 years in security operations, 5+ years leading teams, and strong experience with federal programs, NIST controls, and modern security tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7-10 years of hands-on security operations experience in large-scale environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading or supervising teams in Security Operations or SOC functions.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs and NIST control implementation.
• Deep experience with vulnerability management, configuration compliance, and enterprise asset visibility.
• Hands-on experience with security tools like Splunk, ServiceNow SecOps, EDR, ForeScout, Power BI, and Power Apps.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, NIST guidelines, cloud security, and modern cyber operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational cybersecurity functions across service areas with risk reduction and continuous improvement.
• Oversee vulnerability management, configuration management, asset management, security operations, and incident response.
• Drive integration and use of enterprise security tools, dashboards, and automation.
• Support compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and align with standards and policies.
• Guide teams to prioritize remediation, improve visibility, and standardize security operations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage priorities and escalations.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, and performance metrics to mature the program.
• Promote automation, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to reduce manual effort.
