Job summary

Consolidated Edison is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst to provide day-to-day monitoring and support for the IT computing infrastructure. You will respond to alerts, coordinate with the CSOC, and help triage incidents across security tools such as intrusion prevention and data loss prevention systems.

The role emphasizes incident documentation, real-time reporting, and collaboration with IT and end users to mitigate threats and restore services promptly.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in an IT role.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in IT-related field preferred with relevant experience.
• Experience with IT security monitoring and incident response is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cyber security monitoring tools to support IT infrastructure operations.
• Provide timely response and escalation of alerts in coordination with the CSOC.
• Monitor and support intrusion prevention, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, and access control technologies.
• Perform first-level triage, analysis, and processing of alerts.
• Open and track incidents through to resolution and communicate with stakeholders.
