Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Cybersecurity Associate to support day-to-day security operations and protection of digital assets. You will help monitor alerts, triage incidents, track vulnerabilities, and coordinate with IT and business teams to fulfill security requests.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, proactive risk reduction, and collaboration across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and applications to strengthen our security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security monitoring, incident triage, and response activities in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and track remediation actions through closure.
• Support logging, SIEM integration, and security operations processes across systems.
• Assist with awareness, reporting, and vulnerabilities tracking for leadership reviews.
• Coordinate with IT, security, and business teams to fulfill requests and improve processes.
