Job summary

UNT Dallas College of Business and Technology invites applications for a Lecturer of Information Technology (Cybersecurity Specialization) starting Fall 2027. This full-time, non-tenure track role requires teaching four courses per semester on campus and engaging in program development and assessment.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field, with demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate Cybersecurity, IT, and Computer Science courses.
• Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using technology in teaching and multiple modalities (hybrid, online, face-to-face).

Responsibilities

• Teach four courses per semester.
• Participate in service activities such as program development, course development, program assessment, and committee leadership.
• Provide instruction across undergraduate Cybersecurity and Information Technology courses including Foundations of Cybersecurity, Network Administration, Cloud Security, and more.
