Job summary

Ohio Department of Public Safety – Director's Office/Information Technology is seeking an Information Technology Supervisor 3 to lead the Security Operations Group, overseeing staff who design and integrate computer systems and security measures. The role is based in Columbus, OH, with full-time hours and a 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

The position emphasizes cybersecurity leadership, policy implementation, and collaboration with the DAS/DASD security officers to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• 7 1/2 years (90 mos.) exp. commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledge & skills required as outlined in approved position description on file for position to be filled as advertised in job posting.
• 12 months exp. in performing project management functions as defined in series purpose.

Responsibilities

• Supervise information technology staff whose duties involve writing, analyzing & designing computer programs & systems integration for mainframe or open systems.
• Manage & direct the IT Cybersecurity Team to perform Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing.
