Job summary

Harbinger invites a Cybersecurity Intern to join our Garden Grove facility for an 8- or 15-week program with full-time hours and an in-office requirement. You will gain hands-on exposure to protecting enterprise IT, product development environments, and operational technology in a fast-growing automotive startup.

You will monitor email threats, analyze endpoint detections with EDR, assist incident investigations, and help develop SOPs. Relocation stipend is available for eligible interns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or IT.
• Work authorized in the United States or eligible for J-1/F-1 visa.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor email security threats (phishing, malware, spam).
• Triage endpoint security detections with EDR tools.
• Assist with incident investigation and escalation.
• Help develop SOPs for security processes.
• Support security monitoring and response improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to strengthen security.
