Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor I for the Career Accelerator program. You will deliver hands-on cybersecurity training, prepare learners for industry certifications, and monitor progress in a fully remote learning environment.

The role emphasizes mentorship, curriculum development, and staying current with threats and tools. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cybersecurity, relevant certifications, and a passion for teaching adult learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field; relevant industry certifications may be considered.
• 3+ years of professional cybersecurity experience preferred.
• Ability to teach cybersecurity concepts to adult learners and manage labs.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals and security operations.
• Prepare learners for certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and CISSP.
• Monitor learner progress and provide actionable feedback.
• Coach cybersecurity projects from scoping to employer-ready demonstrations.
• Inform curriculum and labs based on current threats and best practices.
• Collaborate with staff to improve labs and learner outcomes.
