Job summary

Pluralsight is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity trainer to deliver live virtual and onsite classes for enterprise clients. You will design threat scenarios, author Capture the Flag challenges, and build vulnerable labs and cloud-based training environments.

The role involves facilitating incident-response exercises, debriefs, and remediation discussions with technical and leadership audiences. Travel for onsite training is required as needed, with a remote-friendly setup and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in incident response, SOC/threat hunting, penetration testing, or security engineering.
• 2+ years of experience facilitating technical training, hosting CTFs, or leading incident-response tabletop exercises.
• Expertise in tabletop exercise design, CTF development, threat frameworks, incident-response playbooks, security tooling, scripting, or cloud sandboxing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live virtual and onsite cybersecurity training sessions for enterprise clients.
• Design industry-specific threat scenarios and author CTF challenges.
• Build and configure lab, sandbox, and cloud-based training environments.
• Facilitate incident-response decision workflows, technical walkthroughs, debriefs, and remediation discussions.
• Provide instruction across incident response, Red/Blue/Purple team exercises, and related topics.
• Stay current on emerging threats, MITRE ATT&CK, and industry security standards.
• Create an engaging learning environment for technical and leadership audiences.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Pluralsight teams to assess security readiness and delivery success.
