Job summary

All Native Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor to provide stand-up classroom and virtual training in cybersecurity policy and risk management for a diverse DOS workforce and contract staff. The incumbent works independently as an SME, with frequent travel for instruction and program support.

Requirements include seven years in technical roles (three in teaching), strong certifications, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Minimum of seven years of relevant technical work experience, three of which should include teaching or instructional duties.
Preferred certifications: CISSP/ISSEP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53/800-37, FIPS 199/200 or similar frameworks.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to mentor diverse staff.

Responsibilities

Designs and delivers hands-on instruction, lectures, and briefings on cybersecurity policy and risk management.
Coordinates facilities and classrooms for domestic and overseas training delivery.
Sets up and operates equipment required for curriculum delivery.
Maintains up-to-date course materials and trainee manuals.
Acts as SME in cybersecurity policy and risk management and responds to student inquiries.
Travels frequently to support training delivery for DOS staff and contractors.
