Southern California Edison (SCE) seeks a Cybersecurity Engineering, Risk & Governance Senior Advisor to lead high-impact initiatives and embed cyber requirements into architecture, delivery, and operations across IT, OT/ICS, cloud, and vendor ecosystems.

You will partner with engineering and leadership to improve segmentation, logging, vulnerability management, and compliance readiness, while translating complex risk into actionable plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes for

Qualifications

Ten or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity. US citizenship required.
Ten or more years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

Lead cybersecurity initiatives across enterprise tech, IT/OT, and compliance teams.
Translate risk into clear remediation plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
Advise on secure architectures for cloud, on‑prem, identity, network, endpoint, and OT/ICS.
Establish secure‑by‑default baselines, hardened system profiles, and evidence practices.
Partner with engineering and operations to improve segmentation, logging, and vulnerability management.
Drive complex cybersecurity projects from strategy through execution and delivery outcomes.
Support NERC CIP readiness by linking engineering work to compliance obligations and audit evidence.
Strengthen cyber decision-making with repeatable threat modeling, control validation, and governance reporting.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, balancing reliability, security, and cost.
