City of Greenville, TX is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect IT, OT, and critical infrastructure by managing cybersecurity risk, monitoring security events, and implementing robust controls. You will collaborate with technical and operational teams to maintain secure systems and data.

The role focuses on threat assessment, security design, incident response, and ongoing improvement across enterprise networks and critical infrastructure.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, CCNA/CCNP, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise networks and security operations.
• Experience with threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk management.

Mansioni

• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to strengthen security posture.
• Design, implement, monitor, and optimize cybersecurity controls to prevent and respond to threats.
• Lead security investigations and incident response including containment, eradication, and lessons learned.
• Implement and optimize technologies for network, endpoint, identity, access, and threat management (MFA/SSO).
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments, coordinate remediation, and support audits.
• Analyze security logs, events, and threat intelligence to identify risks and policy violations.
