Emerson is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to implement security solutions for process control systems at customer sites worldwide, including Round Rock, Texas. You will protect IT/OT architecture, assess risks, and support cyber compliance while collaborating with engineers and customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on security deployment, documentation, and client-facing guidance to improve safety and availability in critical processes.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of practical IT/OT work experience.
5+ years of design/implementation of cybersecurity solutions or standards.
Experience with defense-in-depth, privileges, and permissions.
Experience with SIEM, antivirus, whitelisting, patch management, and network security tools.
Familiarity with ISA99/IEC 62443, NERC, NIST frameworks.

Mansioni

Implement security tools and solutions in process control systems, ensuring proper configuration and testing.
Review customer security procedures and concepts.
Analyze risks and threats to process control systems.
Train users on supported security products and procedures.
Collaborate with senior engineers and customers on best practices and security standards.
Draft technical and security documents and controls for customers and peers.
Understand customer security concerns and requirements.
Perform cybersecurity assessments of control systems and surrounding IT infrastructure.
Validate cybersecurity solutions with internal test groups for completeness.
Provide technical advice, recommendations, and presentations to adopt proposed solutions.
