Cybersecurity Engineer
Richmond, VA (Remote)
Remote, but candidates close to or in VA preferred
6+ months contract

Client is seeking an Azure Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity Engineer 3) with a minimum of 5 years' experience to work with an existing software development team.

You will collaborate with our established contractors and staff to focus on several web and Windows applications used by internal ELECT staff and clients. The candidate should possess expertise in all aspects of IT security and cloud security, with experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The candidate must have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity practices, industry security standards, and regulatory standards. A bachelor's degree and/or recognized industry certifications are strongly preferred and will be advantageous.

Since ELECT employs mobile and responsive design practices, familiarity with these methodologies is a plus.
