Job Description

The client is seeking an Azure Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity Engineer 3) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to work with an existing software development team.

You will collaborate with our established contractors and staff on several web and Windows applications used by internal ELECT staff and constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The candidate must possess expertise in all aspects of IT security and cloud security, with experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment, interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity practices, industry security standards, and regulatory standards. A bachelor’s degree and/or recognized industry certifications are strongly preferred and will enhance your suitability for this role.

Since ELECT uses mobile and responsive design practices, familiarity with these methodologies would be a plus.
