Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a cybersecurity professional to secure and support the college’s information security infrastructure. The role involves planning changes, performing vulnerability scans, and conducting risk assessments to protect data and systems across campus.
You will implement security measures, respond to incidents, and provide training and guidance to the college community on security policies and best practices.
The purpose of this class is to perform administrative and technical work in securing and support of the College’s computing and/or network infrastructure.
Associates degree in cybersecurity with a minimum of one-year experience in cybersecurity or information technology or a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity. Experience with securing operating systems, networks, and various applications at an enterprise level required. Cybersecurity certifications preferred.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
