The ideal candidate will prepare, teach, and evaluate courses inthe academic discipline for which hired; seek continuousinvolvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning;stay current in their field; develop goals and objectives inadvance of each academic year; participate with other faculty inmanaging courses, curricula and academic policy and contribute tothe success of the learning college.
Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field with significantrelevant graduate level mathematics coursework; excellent verbaland written communication skills; ability to work effectively withcolleagues and students; ability to teach at all levels ofmathematics from basic arithmetic through differential equations,including linear algebra and statistics; experience working withdiverse populations in a learning environment; and experience withthe use of technology in teaching mathematics.
Two years of teaching mathematics at the college level.
