Job summary

SRS Distribution seeks a Cybersecurity Staff Engineer – Data Protection to lead encryption, PKI, DLP, and secure data lifecycle programs. The role focuses on TLS 1.3 implementation, certificate lifecycle automation, and governance within a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data protection, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with enterprise architecture and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 5+ years in data protection or information security engineering.
• Hands-on PKI, certificate management, TLS/SSL, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with DLP tools (Zscaler, Forcepoint, Trellix, Symantec, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of document retention and secure destruction policy integration with legal/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise data protection capabilities (encryption, DLP, lifecycle management).
• Drive PKI & Certificate Management including rollout and automation.
• Develop TLS 1.3 roadmap with assessment, compatibility, and migration strategy.
• Partner with legal/compliance to implement retention and secure shredding policies.
• Mentor engineers and produce documentation for operations and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate to integrate DLP tools into workflows and ensure audit readiness.
