Job summary

Village Farms International is seeking a seasoned Head of Cybersecurity & Compliance to lead our enterprise security strategy, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, protecting critical assets and enabling business growth across global operations.

The role partners with executive leadership and the Board, overseeing security operations, third‑party risk, audits, incident response, and security‑by‑design across cloud, network, and data protection. IN‑OFFICE in Lake Mary, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or IT audit.
• Experience implementing enterprise security, governance, and risk management in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and regulatory compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP (preferred) and others are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance aligned with business objectives and risk landscape.
• Oversee information security, IT compliance, governance programs, and security controls.
• Direct incident response activities and coordinate with IT, Legal, Privacy, and external partners.
• Manage third‑party risk, audits, regulatory examinations, and governance reporting.
• Champion security awareness and training across the organization.
