Job summary

Village Farms International is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity & Compliance to lead enterprise cybersecurity, governance, and compliance strategies. This in‑office role is located in Lake Mary, FL, and partners with executives to strengthen cyber resilience and enterprise risk management.

You will oversee information security, IT compliance, policy development, and governance reporting to senior leadership and the Board, while guiding incident response and third‑party risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's/MBA is an asset.
• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, IT audit, or related discipline.
• Experience implementing enterprise security, governance, and risk management frameworks in cloud/hybrid/enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of governance, cyber risk management, security architecture, incident response, vendor risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and regulatory assessments; CISSP preferred; other certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee enterprise information security, IT compliance, and governance programs.
• Direct incident response activities and cross‑functional investigations.
• Lead third‑party risk management and contract security requirements.
• Manage audits, regulatory examinations, and governance reporting to leadership and Board.
• Champion security awareness and ongoing training across the organization.
