Job summary

City of High Point is seeking an IT Analyst to monitor security tools, analyze network traffic for threats, identify anomalies, and respond to cybersecurity incidents from the 211 S Hamilton St location.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to improve security architecture and help develop and enforce information security policies, procedures, and awareness programs across city departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT analysis or information security.
• Experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and routing.
• Proficiency in firewall management, IDS/IPS, VPN, and SIEM.
• Shell scripting and security best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
