Job summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst is a key member of the Cybersecurity Team within Marist Information Technology. The Analyst detects and mitigates cybersecurity threats across the Marist network and systems from internal and external sources, working with IT Operational staff to continually improve security posture.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer SIEM platform and review logs for security issues.
• Assist in expanding Governance, Risk and Compliance program to improve maturity.
• Assist in enhancing the vulnerability management program to improve security posture.
• Improve internal auditing: vulnerability management, baselines, pentesting, phishing tests.
• Participate in Incident Response: investigate incidents and perform forensics.
