Job summary

KBR seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst / ISSO to join the National Security Solutions team at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

You will ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per security policies and RMF requirements. Responsibilities include converting accreditation packages, managing vulnerabilities, applying patches, maintaining security baselines, and supporting RMF assessments through eMASS or XACTA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01 certification, Security+.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of DoD RMF Rev.4/5, cyber technologies, NIST standards and DISA STIG governance.
• Must have experience in the Agile Lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, implementation, deployment and remediation.
• Excellent technical document preparation and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert accreditation packages from DoDM/RMF Rev.4 to Rev.5.
• Track vulnerabilities and mitigation results; maintain vulnerability management policies.
• Apply security policies to meet system objectives and update patches while maintaining performance.
• Establish and maintain security baselines for control systems and IT components.
• Support RMF assessment requirements and document records (eMASS, XACTA or equivalent).
• Maintain RMF body of evidence documentation; develop and execute assessment procedures.
• Coordinate with teams to troubleshoot and implement security solutions.
• Communicate risk findings and recommend cost-effective controls.
