Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD and RMF-compliant environments. You will manage Windows/Linux servers, AD, STIGs, and virtualization, while coordinating with TRMC/JSN/JMETC networks to ensure security and compliance.

Responsibilities include implementing security controls, conducting assessments, and guiding incident response. TS/SCI clearance and 10 years of relevant DoD experience are required; remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; DoD experience preferred.
• At least 10 years of DoD system admin or cybersecurity work.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server management; AD and STIGs.
• Experience with RMF and vulnerability scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and standards.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, assessments and remediation tracking.
• Operate and monitor DoD–compliant RMF based systems.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers; manage AD authentication.
• Oversee PAM, SIEM reporting, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to plan enhancements.
