Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to lead RMF activities for DoD-focused systems. The role is primarily remote, with required access to DoD spaces for meetings and occasional on-site work.

You will liaise with military, government and contractor personnel to guide RMF artifacts and ATO readiness under DoD policy. The ISSM will deliver executive-level briefings, RMF documentation, and vulnerability reporting, while coordinating with TRMC SISO and senior leadership on

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required
• 2+ years in Information Assurance or Cyber Security engineering
• 2+ years conducting security assessments with ISSO/ISSM
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 8 years IT field experience in lieu of degree; Master’s Degree preferred
• Experience with SAP (Special Access Programs)
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and RMF processes
• Familiarity with unclassified and classified environments
• Ability to interface with senior leadership; strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver RMF documentation, executive briefings, assessments, self-assessments, RMF packages and supporting RMF materials
• Review Cybersecurity tool reports (ACAS, HBSS) for reporting and compliance
• Develop Software Certification packages
• Collaborate with TRMC SISO on RMF packages and ATO status updates
• Support security engineering projects and solution delivery
• Lead security audit and compliance activities for each system
• Audit RMF artifacts to determine readiness for ATO submissions
• Provide remediation recommendations on vulnerabilities
• Monitor system status and report to senior leadership
• Prepare monthly executive vulnerability reports and RMF updates
• Attend Executive Program Reviews as ISSM; briefings to SISO/PM/AO
• Interface with outside agencies on MOUs and Interconnection Service Agreements
• Travel up to 25% as needed
