Grupo Ferré Rangel is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for a full-time, regular role in Puerto Rico. The candidate will conduct security assessments, implement controls, and respond to incidents while coordinating with IT teams and keeping up with PCI and SOC2 requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years in IT/security roles, with strong English/Spanish communication and SIEM/IDS/IPS experience. Occasional offsite and flexible hours may be needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information technology roles.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts regular security assessments and penetration tests to proactively identify weaknesses in our systems and infrastructure.
• Develops and implements security controls and measures to mitigate risks and enhances the overall security posture.
• Promptly identifies and investigates any suspicious activities that may signal a security breach, while performing a fast analysis and correlation of events to ensure timely resolution of potential issues.
• Conducts weekly system scans to uphold compliance with PCI regulations and policies; ensures adherence to SOC2 and related standards.
• Guarantees optimal performance and configuration of all security tools and systems, managing settings and access permissions; ensures effective endpoint protection.
• Assists in creating tailored training modules and simulated attacks to educate employees and raise cyber threat awareness.
• Emphasizes ongoing updates to inform all users of cybersecurity protocols, especially with new personnel.
• Responds to alerts via email, Help Desk tickets, and other notifications; prioritizes actions by alert criticality.
• Facilitates information exchange between analysts and IT; shares details on vulnerabilities and recommends viable alternatives.
