Job summary

Grupo Ferré Rangel is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team as a full-time, regular position in Puerto Rico. You will conduct risk assessments, implement controls, and monitor threats to protect our systems and data.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in CS/IT with 2+ years in IT security, experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners, and bilingual English/Spanish communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required.
• 2+ years of experience in information technology roles.
• Proven cybersecurity analysis, incident response, and risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems and infrastructure.
• Develops and implements security controls and measures to mitigate risks and enhance the overall security posture.
• Identifies and investigates suspicious activities signaling a security breach, with fast analysis and correlation of events.
• Conducts weekly system scans to uphold PCI and SOC2 compliance and related requirements.
• Manages and maintains security tool configurations, access permissions, and endpoint protection policies.
• Creates training modules and simulated attacks to educate employees about cybersecurity threats.
