Job summary

Financial Plus Credit Union is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong infrastructure background to protect members, systems, and data. This role owns day-to-day security operations across endpoint, network, and cloud environments – including vulnerability management, patching, and hardening of Microsoft 365 and Azure.

The ideal candidate blends deep technical knowledge with practical security experience in a fast-paced financial services setting governed by regulatory and audit

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an infrastructure or security role.
• Hands‑on with modern security stacks such as Cato Networks or CrowdStrike.
• Scripting proficiency for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with vulnerability and patch management programs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day security operations across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Lead vulnerability management lifecycle: scanning, triaging, and remediation.
• Manage patching to keep OSs, apps, and infra up to date.
• Harden Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID), using baselines & MFA.
• Administer Microsoft Purview, including DLP, retention, and eDiscovery support.
• Manage Intune endpoint security and conditional access.
• Secure Azure resources with cloud security best practices.
• Implement network segmentation, logging, and configuration management.
• Oversee firewall policies and VPN/security access.
• Develop Group Policy settings for secure workstation/server config.
• Handle email security controls and phishing defenses.
• Coordinate security awareness and phishing simulations.
• Automate operations with PowerShell, Bash, Python; integrate tooling.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
