Zusammenfassung

DUAL North America is hiring an Underwriter for the Cyber division in a hybrid setup. You’ll assess cyber risk exposures, review controls and incident history, and shape tailored insurance solutions in collaboration with the Cyber team.

You will manage submissions, support portfolio growth, and maintain profitable performance while building broker relationships. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business or related field.
• CPCU/AU or similar designations are a plus.
• 0–5 years underwriting experience.
• Solid understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment.
• Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Curate a portfolio of business in accordance with Underwriting Guidelines and pricing tools with minimal discretion, ensuring profitability.
• Evaluate, select, classify and rate/price each risk; establish coverage standards and amount of protection.
• Achieve annual premium income and hit quote numbers with desired hit ratios and retentions.
• Foster relationships with assigned producers.
• Gather and compile information required to quote and/or bind an account.
• Generate, edit, and send declination letters, quote follow ups and reminders.
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of underwriting principles and risk characteristics.
• Stay up to date on market dynamics and communicate insights to the team.
• Fill in for other team members to ensure continuity during peak periods.
