Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to join a mission-focused team defending complex environments against advanced cyber threats. You will proactively hunt, analyze large security data, and develop detection strategies using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.

Required five years in threat-related roles, TS clearance with IT-I, T5, and certifications from the listed IAT-II and CSSP IR options. Hybrid collaboration with various security teams is expected, onsite in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Five years in Threat Intelligence, CSIR, IR, Penetration Testing, or Digital Forensics.
• Three years analyzing attacker techniques at all levels of attack.
• Current DoD Top Secret Clearance with IT-I, T5.
• At least one IAT-II and one CSSP IR certification from the listed options.
• OS diversity knowledge and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Ability to turn Threat Intelligence into actionable information using MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for advanced threats and identify activity evading controls.
• Analyze network, logs, and endpoint telemetry to spot anomalies.
• Develop threat-hunting strategies and automate capabilities.
• Correlate security events with threat intelligence to spot emerging threats.
• Document threat-hunting methods, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with detection, intelligence, SIEM, and IR teams on incidents.
• Support incident response activities and mitigate vulnerabilities.
