Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst to support a 24x7 cybersecurity operations environment in Columbus, OH. You will monitor SIEM, investigate alerts, and drive incident response for a large enterprise network.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance and hands-on experience identifying sophisticated threats, including APTs. You will develop scripts to enhance detection, support defense-in-depth controls, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Five (5) years relevant experience.
• Two (2) years performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents.
• Experience with multiple security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP).
• Ability to develop scripts to automate threat detection and response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM, network traffic, security logs, and monitoring tools for suspicious activity.
• Analyze alerts to identify potential attacks and emergent threats.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor for APTs and other sophisticated attack techniques.
• Use threat intelligence and OSINT to identify threats and investigate.
• Support incident response activities and defensive actions.
• Analyze trends to identify malicious activity patterns.
• Provide technical support for enterprise cybersecurity tools.
• Support defense-in-depth safeguards and perimeter defenses.
• Develop scripts/tools to improve threat detection and incident response.
