Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Claims Consultant to manage a diverse caseload of Cyber & Technology claims from inception through final disposition. You will analyze coverage, liability, and damages, coordinate with counsel, and drive resolution strategies in a complex, litigation-prone environment.

The role requires a JD (preferred) and at least three years handling litigated claims, with strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability cases in Cyber & Technology, Privacy and Data Breaches, or related areas.
• Knowledge of first- and third-party claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of first and third-party Cyber & Technology claims from inception to final disposition.
• Conduct investigations, analyze information, and determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Coordinate with customers, law firms, and vendors to mitigate cyber incidents and respond appropriately.
