Job summary

PNC is seeking a Technology Risk Director to lead the technology risk discipline across the Technology Organization. Based in the Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Birmingham, Dallas, Denver or Phoenix area, you will shape risk posture, drive governance, and align with business priorities.

You will oversee risk identification, mitigation, reporting, and analytics, mentor a team, and partner with senior leaders to ensure timely escalation and effective controls, fostering a risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

• University degree required; higher education such as Masters/PhD or certifications may be considered.
• 8+ years of industry-relevant experience typical for this level.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the technology risk discipline, driving the execution and continuous enhancement of the technology risk management framework across the Technology organization.
• Implements and operationalizes the technology risk strategy and governance structures, ensuring policies, standards, and practices are followed.
• Directs complex risk identification and assessment, focusing on emerging technologies and cross-functional risk exposures.
• Acts as a senior advisor and thought leader to technology and business leadership, shaping risk posture and escalation of material risks.
• Leads risk reporting, metrics, and analytics, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership and fostering a risk-aware culture.
