The Hartford is seeking a Claims Consultant to handle a mixed portfolio of cyber and technology claims in a hybrid/remote setup. The role involves managing first and third party cyber claims from inception to disposition and coordinating with defense counsel to resolve litigation efficiently.

Candidates should have litigated claim experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex coverage issues clearly to insureds and partners.

Competenze

• Experience handling litigated coverage and/or liability claims as defense counsel or claims handler.
• Knowledge of cyber & technology liability, privacy and data breaches.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.

Mansioni

• Investigate and evaluate claim information to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Manage first party and third party cyber and technology claims from inception to disposition.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, manage litigation planning, and oversee budgets.
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary and present cases to leadership.
• Provide timely written positions to insureds and other parties.
• Identify trends, prepare reports, and support underwriting with risk insights.
