Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineering Manager 1 in Annapolis Junction, MD to lead a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to classified programs. The role focuses on both people leadership and technical performance, with on-site requirements and a pathway to top-secret eligibility.

The position emphasizes collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, adherence to cybersecurity standards, and the development of robust engineering processes within an Agile/DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years, Master’s with 3, or a PhD with 2 years of experience in related fields.
• Experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams to success on complex programs.
• Direct experience with system requirements decomposition/traceability and architecture definition.
• Familiarity with RMF assessment artifacts and DoD cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams and ensure clear roles, purpose, and productive collaboration.
• Provide technical decisions for cyber systems and guide program-wide cybersecurity requirements.
• Ensure compliance with CNSSI 1253, DoD 8570/8140, DoD 8510, and AFI 17-101 across programs.
• Work with program management to meet schedules and budgets; manage risk and staffing.
• Contribute to engineering reviews and artifact development for authorization and assessment.
