Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support a national customer. You will collaborate with Risk Management stakeholders to advance processes, develop project reviews, and deliver high-quality findings for senior government officials.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, DoD 8570/8140 certification, and the ability to work core hours (0900–1500, Mon–Fri). A STEM background and extensive experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS with 12–15 years of experience, or MS with 10–13 years, or PhD with 10+ years of experience
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly

Program Description:

The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The contracts Core Capabilities are: IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support.

Position Description:

The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security. Daily. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Desired Qualifications:
  • Systems Engineering (configuration management, requirements management/writing, architecture, interfaces)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
  • Knowledgeable of customer’s tools and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with customer’s IA processes
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
  • Experience briefing senior customer personnel
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions (ECDS)
  • Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
