Job summary

Arcfield in Chantilly, VA is seeking a RMF - IA Trainer to provide Cybersecurity policy, process, and tool training. Daily tasks include developing IA training with SMEs, coordinating sessions, and updating materials as new Cyber/IA tools are deployed.

The role supports CAM events and delivers training on ServiceNow, RMF, and continuous monitoring, with a strong emphasis on communication and detail-oriented execution.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • 8570/8140 IA certification required.
  • Experience delivering training in person and virtually.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with RMF process and information assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, adapt and deliver IA training for the Government.
  • Coordinate training session planning, registration, delivery and follow-up.
  • Create and update training materials as new Cyber/IA tools are fielded.
  • Prepare agendas and content for CAM events and other quarterly trainings.

Responsibilities

Program Description:

The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The contracts Core Capabilities are: IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support.

Position Description:

The RMF - IA Trainer provides support to the customer in the area of Cybersecurity policy, process, and tool training.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with the customer, training team members and SMEs to develop, adapt and provide IA training as directed by the Government.
  • Coordinates and facilitates training session planning, registration, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Works with stakeholders and SMEs to create and update training materials as new Cyber/IA tools and capabilities are fielded or processes are created or modified.
  • Works with customer to prepare agendas, marketing materials and content for the annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CAM) conducted every October as well as other quarterly CAM events.
  • Provides training related to ServiceNow, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Continuous Monitoring, Privileged Users, Information Assurance, Information System Owner cyber responsibilities, etc.
  • Participates in the development of new training topics, content and associated materials.
Qualifications

Required:

  • BS with 10-12 years of experience, MS with 8-10 years of experience, PhD with 5-7 years of experience
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Able to support customer’s core hours (0900-1500; Mon - Fri)
  • An 8570/8140 IA Certification
  • Experience training and presenting both in person and virtually
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
  • Experience with the RMF Process

Desired:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced IA certification (i.e. CISSP or CASP)
  • Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain with acquisition and project management
  • Experience as an ISSO, Information System Security Manager (ISSM), SCA, or Delegated Authorization Official Representative (DAO Rep)
  • Experience with Service Now, and Splunk
  • Familiarity with credentialling, reciprocity and other access management processes
  • Familiarity with the customer’s training platform
  • Basic Instructor certificate
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and platforms

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
