Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy to help clients evaluate cybersecurity programs, advance risk management, and develop practical strategies that align with business goals. You will work across industries, shaping target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.

You’ll deliver client-ready deliverables, facilitate workshops, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with EY engagement teams. Travel of 25-50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field such as Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Risk Management, or related area with 3–5 years of experience; or a graduate degree with 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, risk management, and policy development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, and PCI DSS.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs; travel estimated at 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity strategy and transformation engagements with clients.
• Support cybersecurity assessments, facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops, translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate cybersecurity programs, governance structures, policies, operating models, and risk management capabilities against industry frameworks.
• Assist in identifying capability gaps and strategic improvement opportunities, prioritizing initiatives.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
• Prepare client deliverables, executive presentations, and reports; mentor junior team members and contribute to business development.
