Job summary

Leidos in Lawton, OK is seeking a Software Tester to join the Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) within the INTEL Sector. You will help train the warfighter to recognize and respond to real-world CEMA threats and work with a diverse team of hackers, programmers, mathematicians, and physicists to ensure high software quality.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Technical Degree.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software testing, software quality assurance, software validation, or a related quality engineering role.
• Experience in C++, Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience developing and executing manual and automated software test cases.
• Experience reviewing software and system requirements to develop comprehensive test coverage.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows.
• Experience documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects using defect management tools.
• Problem-solving skills (imagine a hundred exclamation points behind this qualification).

Responsibilities

• Performing test planning, monitoring, and execution.
• Developing and executing manual and automated software test cases in Linux/Windows environments with significant focus on repeatability.
• Reviewing and verifying system-level and software-level requirements while working with team members to better understand them.
• Discovering, documenting, reproducing, and tracking technical defects so team members can efficiently resolve issues.
• Performing functional, integration, regression, and system testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with software developers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to improve software quality and test coverage.
• Supporting Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of automated testing capabilities and regression test suites.
