Ameren Corporation’s Callaway Energy Center seeks a Cyber Security Programs Engineer to provide technical leadership for cyber security, optimization, and reliability of plant systems. The role includes proactive issue resolution, engineering evaluations, and collaboration with NRC and other agencies to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred; nuclear utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cyber Security Assessment Team (CSAT) and approve digital device scoping evaluations, threat mitigation plans, and implementing procedures.
• Perform safety evaluation screening and disposition of nonconformance reports and Requests for Resolution (RFRs).
• Develop and review engineering evaluations and NRC/INPO documents; participate in lifecycle planning and long-range work management.
• Interface with NRC, DHS, DOE, and FBI during cyber security events and coordinate with NEI/NITS for best practices.
