Ameren Missouri is seeking a Cyber Security Programs Engineer at the Callaway Energy Center in Missouri. The role provides technical leadership for cyber security, system optimization, reliability, and proactive issue resolution across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering (ABET‑accredited) with nuclear utility experience preferred, strong leadership, and communication skills. Security screening is required for plant access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution is required.
• Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Nuclear utility experience preferred.
• Security screening is required for Callaway plant access.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Cyber Security Program Engineer according to Callaway Energy Center procedures and policies.
• Perform safety evaluation screening and disposition of nonconformance reports and Requests for Resolution (RFRs).
• Conduct causal analysis of equipment deficiencies and determine corrective actions.
• Lead the Cyber Security Assessment Team (CSAT) and review digital device scoping evaluations and threat mitigation plans.
• Monitor cyber security performance and report status to plant management.
• Review NRC/INPO documents and share Operating Experience.
• Engage in long‑range planning and life‑cycle management.
• Represent Cyber Security on the NEI Cyber Security Task Force and interface with NRC, DHS, DOE, and FBI as required.
