Job summary

Martignetti Companies is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Manager to operate, maintain, and improve security tools and processes protecting employees, systems, data, and operations. The role collaborates with the CIO and IT teams to monitor threats, investigate alerts, resolve vulnerabilities, strengthen cloud and on‑prem environments, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Cyber Security or related field (equivalent practical experience considered).
• 5+ years in cyber security, security operations, or related role.
• Experience securing cloud environments (Azure/AWS/M365).
• Knowledge of cloud identity, access controls, logging, monitoring, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain security tools across cloud, network, endpoint, identity, email, and application environments.
• Monitor security alerts; investigate events and contain/remediate incidents.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Secure and monitor cloud systems, including identity platforms and access controls.
• Administer identity and access security including MFA and conditional access.
• Support endpoint protection, email security, network security, data protection, and backup security.
• Respond to incidents with investigation, containment, evidence collection, and recovery.
• Create and maintain security procedures, incident playbooks, and system documentation.
• Work with IT teams to embed security into system changes and deployments.
• Support security assessments, audits, and vendor coordination.
