Barton Malow Co. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance our proactive security posture. You will address security events, contribute to the cybersecurity roadmap, and inform stakeholders about threats and mitigations.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cybersecurity, networking, and systems, and is eager to grow within an enterprise program on a on-site role in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in security operations, vulnerability management, security engineering, incident response, or offensive security.
• Knowledge of IT environments (server config, cloud, networking) and IAM concepts.
• Experience with AWS security services and cloud monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to tickets from the MDR provider.
• Engage in incident response and root-cause analysis to remediate threats.
• Perform internal security audits and improve posture.
• Monitor AWS security, IAM policies, roles, and permissions for least-privilege.
• Analyze cloud telemetry (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub) for suspicious activity.
• Educate users on threats and preventive measures; support vulnerability management.
