Job summary

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Cybersecurity or related program
• Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and analyze risks
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving with root-cause analysis and solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication to work with business areas

Responsibilities

• Work in the Security Operations Center
• Test, scan, monitor, and run different tools against current infrastructure
• Configure tools (data loss protection, email security, malware related, etc)
• Develop code – refine or augment existing tools, load results to a database or engine
• Process optimization
• Aid Cyberthreat Intelligence in Dark Web analysis
• Support Cyber Kill Chain and Threat Response enhancements

At Wellmark we takea holistic approachto Cybersecurity.Identifyand create risk managementstrategyand governance tools,structureand process.Protectthrough Identify and Access Management, training & awareness, data security, information protection processes & procedures.Detectanomalies and events through continuous monitoring and detection processes.Respondwithcommunications, analysis,mitigationand continuous improvement.Recoverwith planning,communicationand improvement.

What projects might I support?

Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:

• Work in the Security Operations Center
