• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Security, CS, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
• Knowledge of NodeJS, Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SQL.
• Understanding of programming/scripting, CS and MIS domains.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem solving; self-starter.
• Ability to troubleshoot and craft creative technical solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Job Description

What’sInformation Security Cloud Engineering in our Technology Division?Wellmark is building innovative, modern solutions using cutting edge technology. What projects might I support?Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:

• Develop cloud migration security controls, ensuring the deployment of new applications to the cloud follows Wellmark’s security standards.
• Script automated controls to monitor cloud security,
• Build reporting tools, obtaining coding data and analyzing to understand and craft recommendations
• Support thecreationand document flow for technologyidentityaccess management team
• Gather requirements by asking thoughtful questions, clarifying needs, and maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Analyze current usage reports and develop data management scripts and structures that bring information together to support reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Current junior, senior or Master’s pursing a Bachelor's degree inInformation Security, ComputerScience, Data Analytics, MIS,or related field
• Knowledge of software development technologies (NodeJS, Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SQL).
• General understanding of the domains of programming/scripting, computer science, and management information systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail and self-starter.
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop creative technical solutions.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Prior work experience in an office environment or internship
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra/Azure
