Job summary

LCS Defense, LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support cryptographic operations at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The candidate will have experience in COMSEC management and robust key management solution implementation.

The role requires offensive security/penetration testing expertise, DoD access, and the ability to work on-site in a secure lab environment, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of offensive security/penetration testing experience.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and security.
• Ability to interpret network traffic to identify vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work on a small team of cyber engineers to perform security assessments and identify mitigations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on web applications, devices, and software using the penetration testing lifecycle.
• Maintain test efficacy by applying new testing tools and techniques.
• Conduct research and development to explore current and emerging technologies.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
