Dalcom Engineering is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Army modernization efforts at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating cybersecurity solutions and architectures for mission-critical systems.

The position requires 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience and an active TS/SCI clearance, with strong communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field as listed.
• 3+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures for information systems and networks.
• Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures to meet requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into designs and processes.
• Support test plans and evaluate new technologies and security features.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging threats and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.

Education

Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
