Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across our enterprise systems. You will deploy technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Proxy, and endpoint protection while tuning configurations for high availability.

You will partner with CyberSecurity Architects and cross-functional teams to reduce risk, address incidents, and improve security posture in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Cyber Security or related field.
• Professional security certifications (CISSP, CEH, GSEC, CSSP) preferred.
• Fluent English with strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience building and operating secure systems in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across enterprise systems and networks
• Deploy and maintain security technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Proxy, and endpoint protection tools
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure to ensure high availability and effectiveness
• Estimate technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks, and dependencies
• Analyze and resolve technical problems
• Establish and promote design guidelines and standards
• Experiment with new and emerging technologies
• Collaborate with CyberSecurity Architects for planning and implementation of controls
